Terms of Service

1. AGREEMENT & OVERVIEW

This website and the business are operated by Linea Bathrooms (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By ordering from us (in-store, online, or via telephone), you agree to accept these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION & VISUAL REPRESENTATION

Visual Accuracy: All pictures on our website are for illustrative purposes and may differ from the actual product (including color, texture, and finish). We strongly recommend visiting our Padstow Showroom to inspect physical samples before purchase.

Suitability: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the actual size and specifications of products are suitable for their purpose prior to submitting an order.

3. MANDATORY INSPECTION & INSTALLATION

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE COMMENCING ANY WORK:

• Obligation to Inspect: The purchaser and their licensed installer have the absolute responsibility to inspect all goods for visible defects, damages, or discrepancies PRIOR to installation.
• Acceptance of Goods: Installation, tiling, or any modification of the product constitutes full and final acceptance. Once an item has been installed or attempted to be installed, we will NOT accept any claims for incorrect supply or visible defects.
• No Liability for Labor Costs: Under no circumstances shall Linea Bathrooms be liable for any labor costs, plumber’s fees, removal charges, or re-installation expenses arising from the installation of an incorrect or defective product. If an issue is found, you must "Stop and Report" to us immediately.
• Licensed Trades: All products must be installed by a Licensed Professional in accordance with Australian Standards. Failure to provide proof of licensed installation will void your warranty.

4. PRICING, PAYMENT & ERRORS

Pricing Errors: We reserve the right to cancel any order and provide a full refund if there has been a genuine error in the price or product description, even after an order confirmation has been sent.

Order Confirmation: Orders are only confirmed once payment is received in full. Items in your cart or on a quote are not reserved until payment is cleared.

Deposits: All deposits placed to secure a product are strictly non-refundable. If the transaction fails for any reason other than default by the Company, the deposit remains the property of Linea Bathrooms.

5. DELIVERY & EXTENDED STORAGE POLICY

Sydney Metro: Free shipping for orders over $1,000 is limited to the Sydney Metropolitan Area. Deliveries are "kerbside" only. Re-delivery fees apply if the site is inaccessible or no one is present to receive goods.

Storage Fees: Free storage for up to 2 months. After 2 months, a storage fee of 5% of the invoice value per month applies. If items remain uncollected for over 6 months, we reserve the right to dispose of the goods to recover costs.

6. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CUSTOM ORDERS

Change of Mind: Returns must be made within 14 days in original packaging and condition. A 20% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exclusions: Custom-made vanities, stone tops, or special-order items are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the order has been processed or delivered.

7. ACL, DAMAGES & MISSING ITEMS

Our goods come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. However:

• Missing Items: Any missing items or parts must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.
• Damages: Fragile items and transit damage must be reported with photographic evidence within 24 hours of receiving the delivery to initiate a claim.

8. TRADE ACCOUNTS

Trade discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other current promotions or sale prices. Full payment is required before dispatch; no credit is available. We reserve the right to approve or revoke trade access at our discretion.

9. LIABILITY & GOVERNING LAW

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linea Bathrooms shall not be liable for any consequential losses resulting from the use of our products. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales (NSW).
